A yoga retreat is a temporary break from everyday life that focuses on yoga practice, meditation, and other wellness activities, often in a natural or peaceful setting. It’s a structured experience designed to deepen your connection to your body, mind, and soul, offering a mix of structured yoga classes and meditation sessions with free time for reflection and relaxation. The sessions offered are appropriate for all levels, no experience required.

Flights
Costa Rica has two main international airports, Juan Santamaria (SJO) outside of the capital city of San Jose and Guanacaste (LIR) in Liberia. Your international flight to Costa Rica will arrive at one of these main airports.
But away from SJO and LIR, you’ll also find a bunch of smaller airports scattered throughout the country. If you choose to fly into Liberia, it is a 3 hour shuttle to Nosara. If you choose to fly into San Jose, it is a 35 minute flight to Nosara. There are advantages to both.
These little airstrips, often no more than a short runway and a hut, serve Costa Rica’s army of small prop planes – or “puddle jumpers” – that move tourists, locals, and goods around the country in the quickest way possible. There is a weight limit for flying on the smaller planes: 30 pounds of luggage and a 10 pound carry-on; traveling light is required! You can check prices for these flights with Sansa Airlines and CR Green Airways

This sample shows a full-day experience, and it’s important to note that all activities are optional and all are welcome on this retreat. Meditations are primarily on the beach.
